Walking in the 50th Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade 🍀

What a day!

This year marked the 50th Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and I was incredibly grateful to walk alongside such an amazing group of friends, volunteers, and supporters.

Parades are one of those moments that remind you what makes Collier County special. Families lining the streets, kids collecting beads, neighbors cheering each other on, and a whole community coming together to celebrate.

Seeing so many people wearing the campaign shirts and carrying the banner meant more to me than I can express. This campaign has always been about people. It is about the families, teachers, students, and neighbors who care deeply about the future of our schools.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, walked with us, handed out beads, and brought the energy. It was a blast.

School Board Update: Florida Citizens Alliance Lawsuit

Another important update coming out of the recent school board meeting involved the lawsuit filed by Florida Citizens Alliance against Collier County Public Schools regarding access to private parent information.

The court ruled in favor of Collier County Public Schools, determining that the district did not have to release parents’ private information as requested.

This decision reinforces something I strongly believe in:

Parents should feel safe engaging with their schools without worrying that their personal information will be exposed.

Transparency in government matters. But so does protecting the privacy and trust of families who participate in our schools and community discussions.

Collier County Public Schools have earned their reputation as an A-rated district because of strong leadership, responsible decision-making, and respect for families.

Protecting both accountability and family trust is key to keeping our schools strong.

Thank You
